2014 Hyundai Elantra Coupe, GT and Sedan

Hyundai has decided to expand its Elantra line with the introduction of the coupe version ( two years ago), which is characterized prominent design compared to the sedan model and a sports interior, but as with the sedan version was available only one engine .
The new 2014 Hyundai  Elantra Coupe is almost unchanged in terms of the exterior, but Hyundai has made significant changes under the hood, and is now available with the new model 2.0L gasoline direct injection engine with 173 hp and 154 lb.-ft., which is for 25 hp and 24 lb.-ft. more than in the 1.8L engine . Among other changes are sports suspension and steering, new wheels, rear spoiler and a more sporty look. As for the interior, Hyundai has added a steering wheel covered with leather and a new Technology package that brings new features .

Hyundai at the Motor Show in Los Angeles promoted and slightly sleek 2014 Elantra GT ( in Europe known as a Hyundai i30 ) model for the 2014 model year.

In addition to new LED tail lamps , modified suspension and a little richer equipment, the biggest news is the fact that Hyundai ‘s U.S. market in this model instead of the previous 1.8L engine installed 2.0L GDI petrol engine with direct injection.

The new 2.0L engine develops 173 hp at 6500 r / min. and 154 lb.-ft of torque at 4700 r / min. which is 17% of 18% power and torque than that of the existing engine.

The engine is matched as standard with a six-speed manual transmission and optional with a six-speed automatic.

The new 2014 Hyundai Elantra sedan - In addition to restyled front and rear bumper, grill and a refrigerator graphics front and rear light groups, the car is extended by 20 mm to 4.55 m. An increase of one dimension, however, will not affect passenger comfort due to the prolonged only the front and rear bumper (for 5 or 15 mm). It now has LED daytime running lights, and will be available with a new two-tone 17-inch alloy wheels.
